The Grass Network, a decentralized internet-sharing platform, has announced its second airdrop event, allowing eligible users to claim GRASS tokens starting June 20, 2025.
The airdrop follows the project’s first token distribution, which saw more than 2 million wallets receive GRASS tokens. The second round will reward participants who meet eligibility criteria, primarily based on their activity using the Grass browser extension.
To qualify, users must have installed the Grass extension, linked a Solana-compatible wallet, and earned browsing points prior to the network’s official snapshot on June 15, 2025.
The claim period will open on June 20 and close on July 5, according to the Grass Foundation. Eligible wallets will receive their tokens by July 10.
Grass is a browser-based protocol that allows users to earn rewards by sharing idle bandwidth. The network aims to build a distributed data layer by incentivizing users to contribute resources passively.
Participants can increase their GRASS allocation through referrals and consistent usage of the extension. The company emphasized the importance of linking wallets before the snapshot to ensure eligibility.
For users unsure about their status, the Grass airdrop checker is available at grass.army.
The GRASS token is built on the Solana blockchain and is used within the ecosystem for governance, rewards, and potentially future utility.
The Grass Foundation recommends users verify their eligibility early and ensure they have enough SOL in their wallet to cover transaction fees.
